Our wine list

From the 'cantina' of Villa Valente

We planted the vineyard in April 2016 and will be in full production from 2021. It consists of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. We pick the grapes in October and start making our ‘Benjamino’. After 24 days of fermentation, the wine is placed in stainless steel barrels for 6 months before being bottled.

From the Cantina of CiuCiu

Owned by the Bartolomei family, the Cantina Ciù Ciù was founded in 1970 by the spouses Natalino and Anna and is located a few kilometers from the medieval Offida (AP), a beautiful town full of events and traditions.

The hills of the Offida area and the neighboring municipalities between the Tronto and Tesino, thanks to their particular geographical position, allow the production of fine Offida wines. The sea air coming from the east creeps between the hills and the rows and mixes with the smells, colors and flavors of the land, creating a magical and unusual scenario.

CiuCiu - San Carro 2021 (40% Barbera, 30% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot)

This wine made from Sangiovese, Merlot and Barbera grapes is the expression of our company’s dedication and winemaking tradition. A simple and genuine product, strong and persistent and at the same time delicate and harmonious in the mouth. Warm and sunny with a purple-red color with ruby-red hues; hints of cherries and red berries characterize the aroma. Its characteristics make it a natural compendium of cheerful conviviality. From a fragrant and healthy tasting “solar” grape, this wine is born, which exactly reflects the fruit from which it comes. Vegan and organic.

CiuCiu - Saggio 2018 (Sangiovese)

This Sangiovese is characterized by an intense purple color, with notes of wild berries and cherries. In the mouth it enters decisively and powerfully, with a complex and refined sip, with soft and well-mixed tannins in the firm texture. Long and persistent finish with clear mineral notes. Vegan and organic.

CiuCiu - Oppidum 2016 (Montepulciano)

“Oppidum” is a full-bodied and soft red wine with a delicate tannin structure, which can be enjoyed even when young. It has ample aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries in alcohol and a delicate sense of vanilla from aging in oak. Vegan and organic.

CiuCiu - Esperanto 2013 (Montepulciano/Cabernet)

Montepulciano and Cabernet, carefully cultivated and vinified using selected oak barriques, then merged after 24 months aging and three months aging in the bottle.

  • Color: Vibrant ruby red color with garnet reflections
  • Bouquet: Intense nose with hints of ripe morello and dried raisins. Spicy notes of licorice and balsamic notes of eucalyptus

CiuCiu - Merlettaie (Pecorino)

The Pecorino “Le Merlettaie” is a still white wine, with an intense straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose reveals aromas of field grass, hawthorn and soft vanilla notes. In the mouth it is fresh, with a pleasant juiciness, enveloping and good persistence. Produced with organic and vegan techniques, with a low impact on the environment.

CiuCiu - Tebaldo (Pinot Grigio+)

Young, fresh and fruity, “Tebaldo” is an organic and vegan white wine. Fruit of a mix of international varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon), it is straw yellow to the eye, with hints of fresh fruit and vegetal nuances in the finish. In the mouth it offers a fresh and flowing sip, very drinkable.

CiuCiu - Arbinus (Verdicchio)

“Arbinus” is a Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOP, organic and vegan white wine. It only vinifies in stainless steel and on sight it is a bright straw yellow, with floral and exotic fruit notes. A firm and well-structured sip follows, refreshed by lively acidity and fruity yields. Excellent with fresh cheeses and with first and second fish dishes.

From the cantina of Saputi

Its founder, Angelo Saputi, created in the first half of the twentieth century one of the first wineries in the Marche with wines of great character. the business passed to his son, Adriano, who continued the expansion of the winery with passion and dedication by building a new one in 1962 near a mountain called “Castru Vecchiu” in the Piceno period.
From that year on, the family devoted themselves to the development of the company by introducing new grape varieties in addition to the native Ribona, such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Passerina, Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc.

Saputi - Castru Vecchiu 2016 (Rosso Piceno)

The “Castru Vecchiu” is a Rosso Piceno and is characterized by its characteristic and original organoleptic profile. It is a red, still and dry wine, vinified from Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Merlot grapes

  • Bouquet: Intense, persistent, fruity, spicy and elegant balsamic with hints of ripe red berries, pulpy cherry and soft vanilla.

Saputi - Abate Pallia 2016 (Merlot)

The Abate Pallia is a red wine from the Merlot grape and the unique interplay of influences of the Adriatic maritime climate. The Merlot is originally from Bordeaux, but also appears to do very well under the Marchigian sun and with the salty breeze of the Adriatic sea. Here the grape produces a powerful, spicy and ripe wine that lends itself perfectly to barrel aging and is very distinctive.

  • Bouquet: Very intense, persistent, fruity and spicy with hints of ripe red berries

Saputi - Ribona 2021 (Ribona)

With its straw yellow color with greenish reflections, this Ribona sparkles in your glass. In the nose, the fresh and floral notes of white rose, lime and jasmine immediately emerge.

Saputi - Camurena 2019 (Ribona)

The Ribona grape is an indigenous grape in the province of Macerata in Le Marche. As early as the eighth century, the grape variety was used for wine production, but was suppressed by grape varieties with more international fame. Saputi is committed to bringing back this unique wine grape.

  • Color: Intense yellow with golden reflections
  • Bouquet: In the nose immediate hints of citrus, melon and exotic fruits, after a few moments it is enriched with notes of oregano and rosemary before giving a very pleasant mineral finish.n. It evolves in the glass and gives great complexity.
